Tini and Martins wedding near Berlin

I had the great pleasure of photographing an absolutely fabulous wedding pair. The wedding was held near to Berlin. The wedding was extremely well planned and lots of preparation went into the wedding. The civil ceremony was held at the Standesamt in Buchow, a stunning village on the outskirts of Berlin. The wedding photography started in the civil office and then the guests moved outside into the gardens which provided a fantastic backdrop for some family photos.

The following day the couple got married in the village church which was somewhat dark but stunning and very old. After the ceremony there was a champagne reception held outside by the local villages.  A local band played the couple out of the church. I had the trusty zeiss 50mm in hand so the pictures came out as sharp as ever.

After the ceremony everyone headed to the barn where the reception and dinner were held. The backdrop of the fields was absolutely stunning and the light was perfect. Slightly overcast which led to some great pictures. The wedding couple were relaxed all day and the guests were extremely happy and more than willing to have their pictures taken. A great two days.

Wow, you really caught the spirit of this event. The personalities of the friends, the red balloons, the girls standing on the haystack. What great memories this couple will have when they look back on their wedding photos. Most of all you made the newlyweds look so beautiful and happy. I’ve bookmarked your site for my own wedding which is coming up soon. Great job.

I love the black and white photos, they really suit the wedding’s theme. I love the bride’s wedding dress choice as well, I wouldn’t have thought of going for that design myself, but I really love it. These photos really capture the happiness and excitement of everyone, and their personalities. The groom looks like he would be quite a funny man – I like the photo of the groom and bride kissing, and the groom has kicked his leg up in the air. Thanks for sharing these beautiful photos.
